I feel like I should apologise

because my dad can't self-edit his photo sets down to just the really good photos. I promise both moriven and I have talked to him about it.

Anyway, he asked me to share his photos of the Pirate Festival from a couple of weeks back. trystbat and demode, I'm particularly looking at you. I hope Dad wasn't much of a bother.

There's another set, but I'm not recognising people in it. (That's because I don't want to go through hundreds of his redundant pictures. Don't judge me.) Feel free to share the links if you spot folks you know.

I dunno... I think all of the ones of T and K are lovely, as are most of the others! And I'm wondering why I'm not in any of the shots... Must have been when I was off tooling around looking for trouble with Francis. ;)

Yeah, mosy of his stuff is competent, but he doesn't cull enough, so it can be a slog sometimes.

Nice pix! And unfortunately nobody edits photo sets anymore, it's a lost art. I think that's the price we pay for cheap storage, both on the camera & online (says girl who works at a hard drive company ;-).

We do! I hate going through 500 "absolutely essential" photos. Our goal is to be under 50 for most events ('cept weddings). The photographer should do the work, not the viewer.

Let me tell you how much I love my dad's vacation photos...

I do too - I only put the pix online that I think are the best ones. But every time someone posts a set from a costume event, I can tell they merely plugged in the camera & uploaded everything, blurry shots, duplicates, bad poses, you name it, ugh!

I hardly ever click through to photos any more. I don't want to have my time wasted.
