Dear Universe: WTF?

Add one more thing to the list of how things could get worse this week: rachaelfleury husband, Brian, is having an appendectomy. I was over at their house helping fix silk banners when he called from the hospital about 5:30 with the news that he was bound for surgery. I'm hoping that him calling means that the appendix had not actually ruptured, since that is usually a "we whisk you off to the OR right now" sort of thing.

Rachael and Noah are at the hospital now. More news will come when we have it.

Gad. Somehow I'm not surprised that he called before the surgery, but good grief. Best wishes (although if it hadn't ruptured it's a pretty routine surgery these days).
