Our *brand new* stove is failing already. Last night the oven failed to bake a potato.


We are not amused.

I would think so. Our landlord bought it, so I'm hoping he kept his receipt. Ultimately, it's his problem to get it fixed, but in the mean time we're ovenless.

I hope that he is not slow and sluglike about getting things taken care of, the way so many landlords seem to be.

He's not too bad. Usually the delay is us not getting around to calling him. Needless to say, this time we did not delay.

It doesn't hurt that the landlord and I both went to Purdue. We graduated 15 years apart, but alma mater is alma mater...
