Say Goodbye to Poppy

Poppy Fabrics will be open through September and then gone. I think a field trip is called for.

Anyone want to go to Poppy to snag some deals before they close?  Would tomorrow work for folks, or would the 18th be better? I'm hoping to get in a trip to Lacis, too, maybe Stoned Mountain if Lacis doesn't have the twill tape I need.

I'm really sad Poppy is going. Without

semy_of_pearls' and my influence, I'm not nearly as happy with Stoned Mountain's selection.

I'd be interested in tomorrow, but I have to work in a trip to the barn. What times were you thinking of?

Behind the scenes, we've worked out meeting at the Flames on Calaveras @ 680 around noon for lunch tomorrow, dropping cars off at my house after, and carpooling to Poppy from there.

There will definitely be another trip later... the deals keep getting better the closer to the closing date, right?

I've never been there, but I've heard about it and would like to go.

I can't do tomorrow but if a later trip gets scheduled please keep me in the loop. (also I'm sure people who are at Pennsic would like to go so maybe after they all get back?)
