I don't make New Year Resolutions, since I think people use them as a dumb way to set themselves up for failure and then beat themselves up afterwards. Also, if I want to make a change in my life, I MAKE IT no matter what time of year.

However, right around the turning of the year, I decided to challenge myself to see how long I could cut out milk chocolate from my diet because 1) I can't cut out ALL chocolate and dark chockies taste WAY better, 2) I don't need to eat as much to satisfy a craving 3) most milk chockies are made with all sorts of wax and junk (and don't get me started on what a waste "white" chocolate is), and 4) milk chocolate is just more available - in vending machines, at the grocery store, at Fry's (right, G0atface?), in my coworkers' cubicles...

So far, so good. I have gone about a month without the milky stuff. I don't know whether I will make a whole year without, but I'm going to try.
