What a good husband

Tuesday night Moriven had two dozen roses delivered to our house because we're leaving for Estrella the day after Valentine's Day and this way I'll get to enjoy them. What a good hubby.

Wardens, check

I finished preserving the Wardens in Conserve for the feast tonight. When I first did my estimates for how many to make, I thought that I could get away with one for every two people. Then I made my test batch. These are pear crack. Oh my god they're good! 

So I now have 60 pears - one per person -  marinading in their syrup. I dream of leftovers, but I bet I won't have any.

Also done, the homemade pickles.

Next step: I'm getting saucy!
