Visual Concert
Nov. 8th, 2007 10:38 amThe visual concert is put on by a pro photographer friend of my mom, John Pearson, that I have kept in touch with. This is the first show that I've been able to attend, since they're always on Wednesday nights. I remember sitting through shows like this in the John and his wife Liz's living room when I was a kid. It was much more interesting as an adult.
The venue and crowd were SO Berkeley. There is a sterotype of older Berkleyans, and these folks were it, man.
The music was mixed. The Cellist... eh. The pianist! The guitarists!
Most of the photography, except for John's stuff - John just has an amazing eye for texture - I thought "I could do that", like shutt3rg33k. And we totally could. I liked the thematic series, which would mean that I'd need a broader portfolio to pull from to do a show like that. But we should totally do a show like that.
