Yes, I know what it sounds like. Tee hee. 

Helblonde means light blonde hair in german.

Hel = light in color
Blonde = yellow hair

It is contrasted by dunkelblonde (dunkel = dark), dark blonde hair.

Sadly, the more time I spend working indoors the more dunkelblonde I get.
